6th November 2004 Kite surfing: borth golf course Wind Direction: wnw Wind Stength: 3 to4+ Surf / Sea State: messy Air Temperature: cold Sea Temperature: not tha warm Weather: overcast rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: oh no up at 6 to meet col for 7 ; puring rain!!!!! all the way, and even when we arrived!!!!!!! breackfast as col unwound his new awning for his van,the business. well rain stopped and col put up the 17 strike on the pulley bar;mistake,toooooooooo gusty for that and he soon got sense and changed the bar! me not having many kites now ( until my three new beat yargas arrive!!) put up the old fav 10 mtr airblast. we perseveered till early afternoon; wind up ,wind down with big holes in it. lunch and wowwwwww the wind arrived well powered on the 10 (thats 13.6 flat) some great wave riding and a few nice popps made up for the rest of the day. hope you enjoyed work dunk! that mini mo worked for chris. small turn out of the borth massif; col, chris, mike and me. just as we left the guy with the white van arrived( no not the one to take me away!) cant remember his name sorry, maybe he can post it; but he's GOOD!!!!!!!!!! oh nearly forgot DE BEARDED BOK DIDNA TURN UP,APPARENTLY GOT STUCK INTO THE LARGER FRIDAY! bet you didnt have as many as i did, mind you i drink beer ; its a blue beard thing! |
